Origin, diffusion and economic characteristics
Old French breed reconstituted recently. It originates from the town of Contres (Loir et Cher). The eggs are white to light cream colored (average weight 60 grams).

It has a ermellinata livery (columbia white), a simple crest, white mumps, slate gray tarsi.
