Morphological characteristics

Receptacle: 5-7 cm, sessile, soft-leathery, plane-reflex but, especially when young, it can also be completely recovered, hairy, from brown to grayish.
hymenium: hellish, pleated-ribbed, with bloom, brownish violet.
Meat: gelatinous-elastic, thick, tenacious, without particular smell.
spore: hyaline, oblong-ovate.

Edibility, habitat and observations

Relationship with the surrounding plant environment: it grows in bushy colonies, with many hawks or united specimens, on rotting trunks, branches and bark. It is found all year round
edibility: worthless.
